This October, we're asking schools, businesses, workplaces, community groups and people across North Lincolnshire to come together, Turn Blue and show that mental health matters.

Wear blue, decorate your space, organise a fundraiser, start conversations or simply help spread the word.

However you choose to get involved, you'll be helping raise awareness of mental health and supporting North Lincolnshire Mind to continue being there for local people when they need us.

Wear blue. Start conversations. Show kindness. Support your community.

Turn North Lincolnshire Blue

This World Mental Health Day, help us turn North Lincolnshire blue for better mental health.

World Mental Health Day | Saturday 10 October 2026
Schools and workplaces are welcome to Turn Blue on Friday 9 October.

It's free to take part and everyone is welcome.

Why Turn North Lincolnshire Blue?

Every day, people across North Lincolnshire turn to us for mental health support.

North Lincolnshire Mind is an independent local charity supporting people across our community with their mental health and wellbeing.

As an independent charity, we rely on fundraising and support from our local community to help us continue providing vital services.

World Mental Health Day is an opportunity for North Lincolnshire to come together, start conversations and show that nobody should have to face a mental health problem alone.

Whether you raise money, wear something blue or simply start a conversation, every action matters.

How will you Turn Blue?

There’s no one way to get involved. Choose something that works for you, your school, workplace or community.

💙 Wear Blue

Ask pupils, colleagues, friends or family to wear something blue and make an optional donation.

🎨 Turn Your Space Blue

Decorate your classroom, workplace, shop window, community space or social media in blue.

🧁 Fundraise

Hold a bake sale, quiz, raffle, sponsored challenge or create your own fundraising idea.

💬 Start Conversations

Use the day to share positive mental health messages and encourage conversations about wellbeing.

📱 Spread the Word

Share your photos and activities on social media and help us turn North Lincolnshire blue online too.

Schools & Colleges

We'd love schools and colleges across North Lincolnshire to join Team Blue.

As World Mental Health Day falls on Saturday 10 October, schools are welcome to hold their Turn North Lincolnshire Blue activities on Friday 9 October or another date that works for them.

We've created a free Schools Participation Pack packed with simple ideas to help your school get involved, including fundraising activities, wellbeing ideas and our Blue Challenge.

We've also created a range of ready to use resources including posters, a parent/carer letter, assembly resources and social media graphics.

Businesses, Workplaces, Sports Clubs and Community Groups.

Could your workplace, shop, club or community group help Turn North Lincolnshire Blue?

You could:

  • Hold a Wear Blue Day

  • Decorate your workplace

  • Organise a fundraising challenge

  • Hold a bake sale or coffee morning

  • Share wellbeing messages with your team

  • Turn your social media blue

  • Create your own activity

Our free Turn North Lincolnshire Blue Fundraising Guide is packed with ideas and tips to help you get started. We've also created some ready to use resources including posters and social media graphics.

Fundraise for North Lincolnshire Mind

Fundraising isn't compulsory - raising awareness and starting conversations matters too.

But if you'd like to raise money, every pound will help us continue supporting local people with their mental health.

You can collect donations through your activity or create an online fundraising page so friends, family and colleagues can support you.

We'd love to see what you're doing.

Share your photos and stories with us and tag North Lincolnshire Mind so we can celebrate our community coming together for better mental health.

Please make sure you have permission from anyone shown in photographs before sending or sharing them with us.
