Help us raise money
If you decided to organize a fundraising event, donate some money or simply support us by doing your shopping online with our partners - thank you.
We’re a small local charity and over recent years as our service has got busier, our funding has not increased making it a real challenge to continue to provide our services.
Our main funding comes from North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group which is supplemented by donations, fundraising, and grant funding. Every penny raised by you will enable us to continue providing essential support in North Lincolnshire.
A lot of people think that we’re funded by the charity Mind but that isn’t the case. We are part of a network of local Mind associations and are affiliated with Mind the national mental health charity, but we are not funded by them. We are completely responsible for raising our own money.
There are many ways you can support us and we know you are bursting with ideas that will be fun and enjoyable. You can find inspiration and information about fundraising in our fundraising pack that you can download (below).
Even if you don't have much time to organize fundraising events or do not have money for donations, there are still ways to ensure that we feel your support - read about them below.
Fundraise for us

Fundraising activities can be a fun and interesting way to support a good cause and raise awareness about things that matter to you. Perhaps you could do a sponsored walk, a run, or even a sponsored silence. Other options include organizing an event such as a charity disco or maybe a coffee morning or a bake-off. You will find some other ideas in our fundraising pack (see above) as well as some tips on how to make your fundraising event a success. If you need a sponsorship form or don't know how to transfer the money after a very successful (we do not doubt it) fundraising campaign - all information is in the fundraising pack.

Shopping that supports us
We understand that despite your best intentions it is not always easy to organise a fundraising event. Time, money and other commitments can be a big obstacle in showing how much you care about mental health and that you support us.

However, you can still support us without spending a penny - just register with Easy Fundraising and choose us as your charity. Easy Fundraising allows you to nominate us to receive a donation every time you shop online with a huge range of online retailers. It is the easiest way to support us - and it won't cost you anything!

Gifts in will
Nearly one-fifth of all voluntary income received by UK charities comes from gifts in wills. Without this generous support, many charities simply couldn’t provide their vital services. Only a quarter of adults with depression and anxiety-related symptoms are receiving the treatment they need. Here at North Lincolnshire Mind, we want to create a world where everyone experiencing a mental health problem is respected and has access to support wherever. We are determined to be there for the growing number of people who will need us in the future.
A gift in your will could be life changing, perhaps even lifesaving, for a person locally that needs us in the future. Including a gift in your will to North Lincolnshire Mind is easy to do. Every gift, large or small, will make a difference. Help us build a better future where everyone can get help without fear of being judged or ignored. For further information please contact North Lincolnshire Mind (details below).
